It does mean you stop prematurely, yes. I’m still my 11 year old height, its just I was extremely tall for an 11 year old.
All my height is leg too, my torso never really elongated
I don’t think it means necessarily shorter height, just that it stops earlier. I’m second tallest person in my family for about a decade already.

I think I started puberty between 14 and 15, (I had a very weird two wave puberty with the first one being very light and the second one, at age 15, truly ruining me) and I started HRT at 20 (if that’s what you’re asking)
19/20 years, don’t know when I started puberty cause I can’t remember my childhood.
I don’t really understand my puberty, but i think a mix of not eating and genetic stuff has delayed it heavily. probably started at fifteen and i’m 19~ now.
even then, it hasn’t been all that impactful into making me more moidy. I kind of wish I had stronger masc features sometimes, but we ball.
