I used to have an eating disorder so im carefully weight cycling down without getting r slurred ab it. Gimme some nice tips! Ive been having lots of cucumber water with meals and walking tons!
be in a slight calorie deficit, around 500 calories below maintenance
measure your meals with a food scale and track and log everything
I second calorie deficit + food scale & tracking, just don’t overdo it obviously. That + cutting alcohol I lost 50lbs and have kept it off so far.
Fair warning, personally I’ve been unable to get back into eating consistently healthy bc over time it became like neurotic or some non-therapy word idk. I started having psychosomatic reactions to food and eating is still hard now. Maybe just depression and other stuff tho idk
ime doing even a tiny calorie deficit, as long as you make sure to track super accurately, is totally worth it because it helps build the habit of tracking without it being so physically difficult from hunger. i was doing a deficit of only 300 or 400 and it mostly didnt feel any different than normal
Yeah for me I stopped drinking and that caused a natural deficit compared to what I was used to. Then I did use an app and scale for tracking food. Ironically i was healthier when doing that than i am now womp womp. (i did a 500cal deficit when i was still tracking)
caffeine is a good appetite suppressant its cheap and you can get it in a lot of ways. diet soda is op
the more you stress out the harder it is to lose weight without like messing up ur nutrition. go on daily walks, and dont expect to lose a bunch of weight at once because your body needs to adjust to the new “normal”.
