I feel like I have no place as a non binary person. Mainstream spaces are full of tucutes, but 4tran adjacent spaces seem to get more and more weird like that. Am I still welcome here? Is my dysphoria enough or are we already actual anti-enby transmedicalists now?

having a brain with traits of both sexes wouldn’t constitute an entirely new sex though imo
if true non binary dysphoria did exist it would likely be insanely rare and also probably hell for anyone who has it since there isn’t a widely accepted third gender socially. and no third sex to have charictaristics of.
i’m not a neurologist though so idk about the brain side of things so maybe i shouldnt talk on that point :P

genuine question though about the neurosex side of it. why would the human brain evolve features to control parts of the body that arent male or female. as in, third sex parts for a third sex that doesnt exist. i dont mean like legs that both sexes have.
i dont doubt that intersex brains exist that have both male and female components but we’re talking about non binary, as in neither male nor female. not both male and female.

this string of numbers is binary. yes it contains 1s and 0s but it is still binary. non binary implies containing something else that is not a 1 or a 0. not simply something that contains both.
My brain probably has male and female characteristics. Which makes it impossible for me to be happy/not dysphoric in a fully male or fully female body. I’m not sure what your argument really is. It does not make sense to consider me a woman or a man. i would like to point out that i have known several non binary copers who have said practically the same things as you and kept that up for a while before dropping it and being a binary transsex person. so maybe my perception is skewed towaards assuming everyone who talks like this would be like they all were

because it’s not entirely one of the other, which is why it requires titration to treat. sex is multidimensional, after all. There is always a secret third thing. Stereotypes and social expectations exist for people who lack sex characteristics, and there is a phenotype that exists for someone who never experiences puberty.
The mood swings and hot flashes caused by having no sex hormones in your body are withdrawal symptoms that go away over time. Is it that difficult to imagine that, with a set of social expectations, neurochemistry, and physical phenotype, your brain can naturally fit it?
when 99% of the population encounters someone who lacks sex charictaristics/actually passes as neither male or female. those people dont think “that person isnt a man or a woman” they’ll use context clues to determine if that [erson is a man or a woman. or assume woman since 99% of “androgynous” people just look like women.

It takes mental effort to deny the existence of a third category and consistently push people into one or the other, even if that third category is just ‘uncertain’. You can’t expect normies to ever expend mental effort on anything.
