Some time ago I commented that transgenderism is an intersex brain condition and got downdooted though I don’t remember if it was here or in reddit

“Your dysphoria is a hecking social construct in your head Hon! You don’t need hrt btw”

Yeah we’re likely just a form of intersex, but “transgenderism” is a bullshit term

Yes but to what degree sex incongruency affects a person depends on the individual. Some find it highly disturbing (dysphoria) while others instinctively feel they must transition or are the other sex.

i wouldnt say its an intersex condition without proof, myself. intersex people got their own issues and i’d rather not step on their toes (intersex transsexual people notwithstanding.)

whether neurosex is a thing is debatable because on one hand i believe a brain is a brain, there is not MUCH difference between the genders/sexes. but on the other hand, neural pathways are forged by our experiences/conditioning/whatever you wanna call it in a real concrete way, which includes gender/sex roles, so maybe there is something to it. but on the third hand i think having a crisis over being ‘moidbrained/foidbrained’ is a bit much, especially when humans are defined by being adaptable and mutable. i dont have any concrete evidence for these thoughts either though sooo grain of salt. im just kinda skeptical when anybody tries to claim ‘this is a girl brain, this is a boy brain’ humans vary so much.

If women’s and men’s brains are the same then why do you think suicide inducing gender dysphoria even exists? Your version just doesn’t make sense

Women’s brains are structured to be in a woman’s body and same for men’s brains. When a brain develops into an opposite gender brain due to an intersex condition called “transsexualism” it causes body sex dysphoria. Some attributes of femininity and masculinity are cultural but some are actually real and innate because men and women actually do in fact think a bit differently and are structured a bit differently as gender is stored in the brain (literally physically structurally stored. You don’t “identify” , your brain is literally your gender). Being in the wrong social role causes social dysphoria. A woman’s brain running on testosterone and vice versa causes biochemical dysphoria which many people have reported too (including me)

i didnt say they are the exact same, i said its just not as much difference as you’d think. its the same way someone who is born and raised in china for example, is gonna have a different brain structure to someone born and raised in mexico. different pathways are formed. i am just not so sure brain dimorphism is as extremely drastic as transmeds like to believe.

being female or male is definitely going to form how you carry yourself, i agree that not all of it is taught. honestly what im thinking of is sex/gender as nature vs. nurture, like considering a child born in a vacuum and wondering how much of their sense of self is informed by their sex, and what they would be like raised without a sense of pressure from gender roles at all? this is why im skeptical, we just dont know this stuff.

i am NOT saying that transsex people in the real world dont know ourselves or cant feel where we should belong or how our bodies should be. i literally feel imbalanced and wrong with such low T levels. i agree we dont identify, we are. i just think that what youre saying is quite it either, at least not exactly.

i think what im saying is i dont think its a ‘preferred lifestyle’ (eugh) but i also dont believe its a ‘medical condition’. theres gotta be another word to define being transsexual. a neurodevelopmental… i dunno, something.

A neurodevelopmental anomaly. AKA intersex brain condition

but i also dont believe its a ‘medical condition’.

Suicide inducing dysphoria is not a medical condition?

Gender dysphoria has a higher mortality rate than poliomielitis and you’re telling me it’s not a condition?

i figured out another thing thats bothering me about ‘neurosex’. sorry, i am kind of slow to process things. its that you cannot reliably sex a human being solely based off of their brain. we sex people based superficially off of their anatomy, their outer and inner reproductive set-up, and then somewhat based off of their chromosomes. there can be influences in brain chemistry but it doesnt 100% prove beyond a doubt what sex that person is.

its just that when you say all this it reminds me of the ‘tranny gene’ and ‘transsexualism should be cured/screened in fetuses’ nonsense. so im still not convinced its a medical condition on the same level as say cancer or pcos or a mental illness.

suppose it is a medical condition, and its listed that way once again. are you leaning so hard this way to… get people to treat it as an illness, in hopes that our transition would be taken more seriously by everyone else? is transition a cure for transsexualism?

If transsexualism is a neurosex disorder then anyone who didn’t experience dysphoria at 5 years old is faketrans and transitioning for other reasons.

I don’t think dysphoria is nessicarily an intersex condition because that usually refers to an abnormality in physical sex characteristics at birth. But that doesn’t make it any less real, it’s just different

Idk I’m not a writer, but the best comparison i could come up with would be something like how blindness can be caused by multiple conditions. Some people are blind because they lost both their eyes. Some people are blind because their brain is damaged in a way that they can’t process visual stimuli. Different processes leading to a similar outcome, and they’re both equally as real

Transsexualism is a sex abnormality where the brain (sexually dymorphic) develops into the wrong pattern. Heart and lungs for example are not inherently structurally dymorphic (they can be enlarged my E and T but in the base they’re the same)

With all that, I think it can classify as an intersex condition

but cissoids said that intersex doesn’t include trannies! They know better than us!

      I don’t care

I’m not sure there is any confirmation of neurosex existing as a concept. And if it exists, why trans people have the sexual orientation that correlates to their birth sex?

why trans people have the sexual orientation that correlates to their birth sex?

Actually sexual orientation is around evenly split in thirds for gay, bi and straight iirc, I believe this is due to the fact that gender develops much earlier than sexual orientation (before puberty) and sexaul orientation starts with puberty majorly. My sexual orientation changed from 70/30 women/men to, like, 5/95 women/men when I started HRT and many people reported similar changes. For source see Desiresaregrey reddit poll

I have made a post about it before. I do believe a lot of these statistics are not reliable, as a bunch of “straight” trans women I saw were just repressing bishits, and a bunch of bishits are primarily gynephilic. Truly straight trans women seem more rare, in the same way cis male gays are more rare.

Obviously, nothing of this is in any way facts. Just my own observations.

And I don’t believe in HRT changing sexuality. It can easily be explained by you repressing to some extent pre-HRT. At least for me HRT alleviated a lot of dissociation, so I presume most people experienced some similar effects to their mental health. As well as feeling more comfortable in your identity and generally looking on life differently than before. Especially when you live in a homophobic country.

"Okay your experience is, like, false. Yeah. It was just not real. What you told me is just wrong and you lied to yourself. And everyone else who had the same experience also lied to themselves. Thousands of people lied to themselves and all reported the same thing that was also not true. See? Now I’m right and you’re wrong

          Do you even hear yourself?

feeling more comfortable in your identity

          le comfortable in le identity

Next you’re gonna tell me gender is a hecking social construct and dysphoria is just internalized transphobia?

I think neurosex is real, but scientifically it’s something that was taken for granted but recently it’s been placed under more suspicion if I remember correctly, so we just don’t fully know scientifically

Placed under suspicion by whom? By cissoids? By the “people” that tell you you’re too young to know your gender? We, as trans people know better because it’s about our fucking experience and not what cissoids think of us.

      We’re not cisphobic enough

I believe in it 100% but understand that the transgender + radfem gestapo will skin me alive and put my head on a spike if I so much as dare say a word about the brain and gender.

And truthfully I’ve heard takes that range from “bring back the benjamin scale” to “allow convicted pedophiles to undress in women’s locker rooms” and I struggle to find an even middle ground that can help all trans ppl while keeping women (THIS INCLUDES TRANS WOMEN) out of harms way :/
