I don’t have any transfemme friends and wouldn’t dare come out to anybody and don’t know anybody that I am close enough with that would actually want to buy it with me… so it’s all on me in the end… also I want to use for my face too because I can’t live with these hairs anymore

Damn, that sucks🫂 No local LGBT group or online in your city?

Do you live quite isolated? In the ass of nowhere, as we say in German?

Or just socially isolated because depression/dysphoria?

Just socially isolated and deeply undersocialised and unable to easily click with people. I’m deeply deeply awkward.

You’re at uni, if I read correctly Can you join any clubs, sports, political, etc? Tranny self-help groups? So you have to meet people regularly…

Political might be dangerous with your shitty family… Maybe a sport club, that’s not too faggy, so your family does not notice. Gym, but only squats, calisthenics, running.

Skateboarding was great for me. Not too social, very accepting, lots of alternative people there. But still manly-coded enough for your family to not suspect anything. Also no changing rooms :) You can come and go to the park as you please, no pressure, no competition.

I also did dancing in college pre-transition. That was the best for self-confidence. But EXTREMELY scary… As the only “”“man”“” in an all-female group

Socialize there. Find people you can trust. Ask every fem (cis/twink) you get to know, if they want to buy the device together.

Or a female-dominated hobby like crafts. Learn to sew/knit. Join meetups, make/modify your own clothes.

Hackerspaces are also very queer, at least in Germany.

Just don’t rot. That has fucked me up royally. But understandable, when you don’t have much energy. It’s hard. But with more activity you also get more energy.

Like a vicious cycle, but i reverse :)

I don’t have time for that… I have a few friends, also queer ones but nobody who could afford buying that with me or would want or need to… but yeah I get what you’re saying but it’s hard enough as it is to just try to somehow get at least some part of some Uni work done for me tbh…

I don’t have time or energy or idk a brain to go and somehow do some kind of sports club… I stay often with my family and can’t really not do that… but I have an apartment I can temporarily stay at… but yk…

The emotional pressure from my family makes it impossible to not stay with them and also I am still in many ways dependent on them and can’t afford no contact and also don’t want no contact to be honest.
