I think it’s because the forum is a bit of a scratching post for us catTranssexuals. I do my best like drink water and chase my toy mouse, or whatever, but sometimes I do get a bit bitchy and I take it out on other cool cats. I think the kitties who seek out scratching posts the most are either traumatized or felines who are addicted to the positive self image from scratching other cats, and these two groups are in a bit of a venn diagram.

this is unironically the most positive trans community im a part of, the other ones that seem more positive are toxically so

i think we’re just all in constant on-and-off mental health crises of varying degrees

It can be depending on the person, some people here are wildly toxic with their “support”. Like I’ve had people tell me to power through my physical vocal disability here before because “anything is possible” lmao

i try to be positive to other ppl here. The negative part is the fact that I hate myself 😊

It’s far harder for me to be mean to u mfers on Lemmy. On Reddit it was more of a different story.

Like idk I think we’re pretty darn nice here. Like yeah we say slurs and stuff and we act mentally ill towards eachother sometimes, but the content of what goes on between members here skews positive.

I try to be kind to everyone… as everyone here deserves kindness… I feel bad that I cant do more then just give condolences and wishes… I wish I could give more substantial help to everyone here…

I’m usually trying to be supportive of others! I think it’s important
