My parents continue to ask me to cut my fuckin’ hair. I DON’T WANT TO. I would feel soooo dysphoric also if I cut like… just 1 cm of my hair. And men can have long hair too! I know I’ll never be a woman, but I don’t want shorter hair!!! How can I make em stop???
Keep saying no, don’t even let them entertain this idea - they will stop caring eventually. Any signs of potential compliance like “eh, maybe” or “I don’t know” will just encourage them.

when i was a kid i would scream and threaten suicide when they tried to make me get a haircut just raise a fuss

its just bad that a child has to try to kill themselves just so they can not cut their hair
its insane how hard they go on it, parents want their little doll or whatever. i guess if you want to control people like that being a parent is the easiest way because you can basically do whatever you want to a kid you “own”

If you live in a country where they can’t send you to conversion therapy, then the worst that could happen is that they would hate you even more. Personally not my method of choice.

Don’t make my mistakes, don’t even go for a trim untill it is long enough to be considered longish. Otherwise there’s a chance you’ll be hair raped. You can only refuse, and admit to them that you want it long or smth. Or you could say that you listen to metal or some shit.
