yeah it is debatable. no i actually wouldn’t argue that with somone with dementia, at least late stage. but i wouldn’t say it’s the exact same thing as what many other people go through. i can’t argue for the inherent worth of life though, i think i can mostly only can argue against suicide by how it would affect other people, and that it’s permanent solution for something that might not be permanent, at least emotionally
i mean plenty of people struggle a lot, but yes they have other people. human connection is one of the most important things for us and i think it’s worth staying alive for
well that’s another reason not to do it. it’s hard to argue about the inherent worth of life if we’re not religious but most people that attempt regret trying it, statistically. i can probably list many other reasons why someone shouldn’t rope but i’ll just say it’s usually not worth it
are you sure you weren’t at least relieved right afterwards that you survived, and these thoughts come in hindsight? but anyways i won’t argue against that. like i said its hard to say life has inherent worth, but at least yours has value for other people, and things generally might get better as well. it isn’t 100% guaranteed you’re stuck
why shouldn’t everyone rope?
happy people shouldnt
true, sad people shouldn’t either though
debatable
there would be a lot of people killing themselves then
there are
yes, but if it was okay for people who have it bad to just kill themselves way more would do it. i think we should avoid that ig
again, debatable. wouldnt argue that for a dementia patient, would you?

They aren’t irreparably fucked
many people are, should they rope?
They’re probably not, if they are there’s no reason other than other people really. It’s all that keeps me here

Idk about worth staying alive for I just don’t wanna upset people

I mean I’ve attempteded more than once before and I don’t regret it. If anything I regret failing
