    again, debatable. wouldnt argue that for a dementia patient, would you?

      yeah it is debatable. no i actually wouldn’t argue that with somone with dementia, at least late stage. but i wouldn’t say it’s the exact same thing as what many other people go through. i can’t argue for the inherent worth of life though, i think i can mostly only can argue against suicide by how it would affect other people, and that it’s permanent solution for something that might not be permanent, at least emotionally

        depends on how old you are… I keep thinking that the older I get, the less hope I have that something will change to the better

          you’re not as old as dementia patients, that’s for sure lol. but what you’re saying is understandable tho, but it also isn’t a rule. i mean i feel it as well, even if it’s not the completely same thing, but i kind of feel like it would be a waste to rope right now if things actually do get better. like we can’t know, things often change quickly
