Personally I want SRS but all the affordable options aren’t good enough for me and it’s not a priority right now for me. I’d do it if the technique was good and I had the money for it tho but I am not going to Brossard to get botched lmfao

    I sort of dislike “you need x to be trans” because dysphoria is incredibly difficult to describe accurately, and repression is also incredibly powerful. I believe you need dysphoria to be trans, but a lot of people are dysphoric but assume they’re just depressed or something. so functionally I don’t like to say “you need dysphoria to be trans” and that extends to genital dysphoria. For me, I can tell I’m genital dysphoric but it’s so low on my priority list (face, body matter much more to me) that I barely think about it and as I am right now I don’t care about getting SRS or not. If I were to solve my other problems, I probably would be incredibly much more genital dysphoric

      Apparently it’s common for people to get more bottom dysphoric after they solve other points of dysphoria. I’m too early into HRT to say for certain tho

    i think every binary trans person should want the proper genitalia, but i understand if srs is inaccessible/too risky/too expensive/not close enough/etc for them as a procedure

    I think, to call themselves trans, a person needs to have at least one type of dysphoria, it doesn’t really matter which. They either have it or don’t. If god decided to have mercy and not grant you with bottom dysphoria — congrats.

    I personally can live with bottom dysphoria right now, but if I could hit a button to get a 100% identical to cis and fully functional set of male genitalia plus prostate (being a biden/gayden is a curse), I’d absolutely go for it. I don’t know if I’ll go for phallo, money + I’d be salty that I’m not identical in function to cis men + I’m admittedly a little squeamish about surgery in general and recovery and all that… But also I’m quiet about all of this, you know? Gock and boypreggers posts make me die inside. Billions must stand up for themselves and start making some demands in scientific progress
