here’s an example on what i mean by suspicious:

one day while i was sorting parcels i got aparcel that had the media mail postage on it. what tipped me off was the following

• it was stupidly huge for how light it was (about 2ft³/56,634cm³)
• it was going to a phone repair store in a mall (like those shitty kiosk type places)
• the parcel was partially open and i could see knock-off airpods
• the box was super flimsy

even if the box wasn’t already open the big indicator was the size, weight and destination. you more than likely had ur manga sent in a box or even more likely a plastic bag. those plastic bags are thin enough that we can feel that it’s a book and would not open it since we have no need to

if we opened every parcel that said media mail no one would want to use that service lmao

no we only open under suspicion, we don’t open all mail that’s sent via media mail…

also i don’t typically see video games being sent through media mail, usually ground advantage since it’s only a couple dollars more and includes enough insurance to buy the game again in case it gets lost.

i have had this 1000 model for about 2 years and have barely touched it… only has 60 cycles on the battery, though the screen really needs to be replaced as there’s yellowing on the edges…

also i mainly play minecraft since it’s the full console edition but portable :DDDD

oh yeah the price of stamps isn’t changing right now… that requires an act of congress whereas shipping costs can change without one. this is because the usps has a monopoly on letter delivery and therefore is a federal matter.

the stamp is worth 78¢ and can mail 3 sheets of paper (1 ounce (28g)) to anyone in the country

have you used any of the newer arm macs?

i hated the intel era and never had a mac during that time because of all the thermal throttling and shit battery, but these arm macs are objectively better bang for your buck. you sound ill informed

my mac mini has 8gb of ram and seems to be running just fine with a bunch of shit open… it’s only choked once when trying to compress a 60gb+ file with the highest level compression and even then it was ok if i just closed discord and a few browser tabs

i like macbook because it’s arm, the power efficiency and color accurate screen is really useful for editing photos…

I plan on “upgrading” from my current mac mini to a macbook neo and using the mac mini as a little server which is better than running an x86 server that’ll eat up like 5x the electricity that this little fella takes :3

I’d never game on a mac though but i also dont game on pc to begin with
