Being an atheist, the Holy Spirit for me simply represents any gathering of humans in which we decide collectively to believe that love for one another (for its own sake) is good.
It’ll probably be quite different to how most (theist) Christians would see it, but as a Christian atheist, I really like the way Žižek describes the Holy Spirit: “What is the holy spirit? It’s an egalitarian community of believers who are linked by love for each other, and who only have their own freedom and responsibility to do it.”

yea, that’s definitely a more complicated situation. i’m not american; however, i’d honestly assume very few people in the real world actually care that much about trannies. like, you’d probably get stares or the occasional shitty comment, but i don’t think most people in the west care enough about anything to really hate trannies. in my experience, the vitriolic hatred is mostly an online thing. (it definitely varies by location, though.)
