Ok so first of all I think you are talking more about black americans rather than black people as a whole, because culture isn’t a race thing, is more of a geographical one. You can also make legitimate criticisms of certain cultures without being racists, what makes you racist is if you attribute the products of certain cultures to the wrong things (eugenics, pseudoscience or whatever)

Yes, a lot of black americans hold conservative social views. Yes, a lot of black people are mysoginistic. Yes, some rappers don’t go beyond talking about the crime life in the music they make (mostly because these are the only things they know, or the things they know best). But the thing is that almost all poorly economically developed sectors or countries WILL hold these types of views. If you think about it, all these things you mentioned just come from the lower economic black sectors of the US. A middle class black american won’t have much in common with a black american from a poorer area.

The only way in which certain people can become more educated is by giving them more economic chances, decent access to education, etc. Race has nothing to do with these things

Honestly wtf is even black or white or asian or any culture. I have no idea what those cultures are. I only see people shouting stereotypes of these cultures which are largely overblown. I don’t associate people with their race, only on what they are.

Okay, I think you’re fundamentally looking at it the wrong way. You need to stop thinking about Arab/Black culture as on an axis of Civilized or Ghetto. What I’m feeling from the writing is that you feel as if the negative aspects of these cultures are lesser and therefore responsible for, at least partially, the discrimination of them.

Mentally you process the white versions of these negative aspects, which there are many examples of, as irregular for white people so it’s not a reflection of their culture.

You need to be able to see things you don’t like about your culture separately from the white supremacist view of it. Anti-blackness has a hand in the discrimination of all black people otherwise there wouldn’t be this weird hierarchy of brown people. So as long as you think this way you’ll be at least partially engaging in it.

Also, I don’t think you should take this as a criticism on your morals or anything. Every poc has to battle with white supremacy, and most of the time they lose. At least you’re trying to undo it

Idk I hate gangster culture and the things you said regardless of which culture it is. With exception of the streamers. Didn’t know that this was racist. But in general I literally never judge nor steretype or highlight anyone because of their race or their culture.

if this is a serious post and not just a troll. in regards to Black culture: read a book or poem written by one of the great Black writers. listen to jazz, disco, soul, rock&nroll, rap that touches on serious painfully real topics (which yes include the woes of the gangster lifestyle at times), blues, learn that a LOT of modern music has roots in Black american culture. watch a movie/show centering our classic icons. look up what AAVE is, our dialect is not ignorant, its a dialect. look up the pioneers who steered a movement, who were brave in times of trouble, who invented something useful. we can be thoughtful, sophisticated, loving, talented, sensitive, powerful.

get over your bias, dumbass. it is nobody elses job to educate you, a grownass adult, on how to be less racist.

in regards to arab culture: i do not know much about it, i havent been around it much, but even i know some of the most poignant and sophisticated poetry in existence comes from arab culture. and music as well. you should look at the emotion and intelligence that comes from poets and musicians of the past and realize that arab culture can be beautiful as well.
