Like yeah sure, I guess non-passing doods face misogyny, but there’s gotta be a better way to talk about it. Like I feel like the only trans guys that face typical misogyny are the no T functionally a woman guys, or the AGP guys that get mistaken for troons.

Like why is the main focus of advocacy for trans guys pregnancy, misogyny, and periods? It’s so cucked, and most the trans guys here seem closer to being woman-hating incels than anything else, even IRL it’s a mix of normal faggoty doods and borderline incels.

I feel like “misogyny” faced by trans guys is fundamentally different. Like it seems to all stem from the cis desire to emasculate trans men, completely and utterly, and a lot of it primarily comes from women,like the “kind eyes” thing is a small example of it. Like the infantilization and fetishization largely ties back to the emasculate in a way it just generally doesn’t for women, like maybe there’s some overlap with butch women, but from what I’ve seen they’re not infantilized to the same degree or rather same way.

It’s more transphobia than anything, and there’s some overlap because misogyny is like emasculation for women, but it’s not the same.

This is probably really retarded but I just think a transexual man who has actually started transitioning doesn’t really face misogyny like women do. (Yes, I did see a social media comment that made me angry before making this post)

    Yeah this is part of why I hate the whole idea that this stuff should ever be described as misogyny. There’s no other instance where the bigot’s perspective is validated in the process of labeling their hatred, and on top of that, it misses what’s actually going on!! Because you nailed it here, this is what the hatred is, like how the media used the photos of Sam Nordquist before he had top surgery, even though photos existed where you could see that he had it. But they had to use the emasculating image.
