I don’t know what to say. Please anybody watching this, don’t do things like that. Please for the love of God be careful. This is an act of desperation and even though we may applaud her bravery, we still need to recognize how utterly dangerous this was. There should always be somebody with you. You shouldn’t operate on yourself. It really is a slippery slope and we should be mindful of the risks and we need do understand there is a fine line between harm reduction and encouragement. I don’t want you all bleeding or dying of infection or sepsis. Please if you are able to get proper medical tratement, get proper medical treatment. Don’t act out of desperation and even, even if you sink to a level of desperation so immense that you would decide to do such a thing… you shouldn’t do it alone. If at all, we need a network of people in the community with proper equipment, medical training etc.

I just… this stuff was really scary to watch. Please stay safe and be careful and don’t do something that is dangerous. We need to recognize how extreme this is and take a neutral but also cautious and realistic perspective on it. We shouldn’t feel indignation and disgust and faint like the very cis people who made this happen by denying medical care. But we also shouldn’t just thoughtlessly encourage or glorify this. We need to be realistic about how dangerous that was.

This is dangerous, desperate and actually very sad. Because this shouldn’t have happened. Not this way. She should have had access to Healthcare.

I just don’t know how to feel about all this :(
