Ik this comment is not serious, but no; for example, just because someone with brain cancer can’t withstand watching graphic footage of a brain tumour being surgically removed doesn’t mean they no longer suffer from their own tumour

I remember stumbling upon a brain surgery video on YouTube and had almost no problem watching it, probably bcs it was way less bloody and the area was isolated so you couldn’t see the rest of the head

It’s definitely a slippery slope…good? Bad? You decide. Mainstream society thrives on fear to restrict us. Please notice how immediately after this went viral, people spread rumors that OP died. Because of lifelong propaganda regarding autonomy. “Don’t do X because you’ll accidentally kill yourself.” It’s constantly said with DIY HRT. And yet DIY HRT is not only extremely safe, but also BETTER than official.

Same with this surgery. Someone (I don’t remember who) said it healed better than their own orchiectomy that was administered by a licensed surgeon.

It might seem extreme at first but maybe this is the door we all have to go through to advance to a decentralized society with no retarded regulations that only exist to gatekeep us based on trutransness and financial income.

      Thank you OP, for everything

It’s a good thing, being able to be responsible for ur own health is good. I just hope that we will get proper health care faster than we learn diy surgery

I don’t think that will ever happen. The potential profit is too good. We need to take control back from corporate systems

I’ve also watched a lot of gore with a straight face (unrestricted internet access ever since I was young award) but this was absolutely chilling, bone crashing, eye popping, vomit inducing. It’s amazing. Thank you for your contributions

I hope everypony that seeks to do this engages in safety measures and harm reduction, you matter

I don’t know what to say. Please anybody watching this, don’t do things like that. Please for the love of God be careful. This is an act of desperation and even though we may applaud her bravery, we still need to recognize how utterly dangerous this was. There should always be somebody with you. You shouldn’t operate on yourself. It really is a slippery slope and we should be mindful of the risks and we need do understand there is a fine line between harm reduction and encouragement. I don’t want you all bleeding or dying of infection or sepsis. Please if you are able to get proper medical tratement, get proper medical treatment. Don’t act out of desperation and even, even if you sink to a level of desperation so immense that you would decide to do such a thing… you shouldn’t do it alone. If at all, we need a network of people in the community with proper equipment, medical training etc.

I just… this stuff was really scary to watch. Please stay safe and be careful and don’t do something that is dangerous. We need to recognize how extreme this is and take a neutral but also cautious and realistic perspective on it. We shouldn’t feel indignation and disgust and faint like the very cis people who made this happen by denying medical care. But we also shouldn’t just thoughtlessly encourage or glorify this. We need to be realistic about how dangerous that was.

This is dangerous, desperate and actually very sad. Because this shouldn’t have happened. Not this way. She should have had access to Healthcare.

I just don’t know how to feel about all this :(
