i was unfortunately in marching band and drumline in high school. did it for gym credits but i did learn how to socialize at least.

played mallet stuff like marimba, xylophone, etc. can kind of play piano because of that but im not very good at it.

    I’ve played piano since I was young, and I can play cello or viola well enough to perform last I checked.

    i took piano lessons when i was much much younger but i dont remember howt o play anymore. now im teaching myself bass guitar, and when i go back home im gonna teach myself tenor sax again and maybe do marching band next year back at uni. i played upright bass with a combo at a wedding once

    I took drum lessons when I was in middle school and I was really into it, but my Dad didn’t want me annoying neighbors so I was never allowed to have an actual drumset at home, so I’ve made a habit of just kinda banging on makeshift drumkits using things like practice pads and pots and pans and whatnot, a tradition that continues till this day, and I find it fun enough that actually buying a kit never felt absolutely necessary, tho the gf bought an electric drumkit not long ago, and when I move in it’s definitely not gonna be collecting dust aha.

    I’m very fond of my electric bass and that’s what gets most of my playtime… by no means am I an exceptionally skilled player or anything, nor have I been formally trained like I have been with drums, but I can throwdown I guess lololol.

    One thing that’s been consistent is that I have a pretty good sense of rhythm. I have some regular electric guitar skills, and I do have two electric guitars that are both on the cheaper side of things, but it’s mostly rhythm guitar parts that I play. I’d like it if I had more of a knack for playing lead, and I’ve been thinking of polishing up my guitar play so I can be well-rounded enough to record my own DIY solo stuff. Y’know, maybe I can be just like M.O.T.O. or Ty Segall or something, just far more uninspiring and with way shittier equipment and far more voicecracks bahahahahaha
