i love food i eat it most days. and i love good food, artfully prepared with many ingredients and flavors.

steak.

where do i even begin. its fucking stupid. its not even a meal thats just an ingredient. thats a slab of meat. imagine if you did that with any other food. imagine its date night and i sit you down in front of a head of cabbage. would you say ‘thank you honey this is very nice i love it’??? NO! youd say ‘what the fuck is this.’ its stupid!!!

ive had steak many times and the sides are always the best part bc steak is literally just meat. you just cooked meat. congratulations. you want a medal or something?

and it doesnt even taste that good most things taste better than steak if we had a meal where the meal is 1 ingredient (one) then why dont we make that ingredient as good as we can? why dont we have a dinner where its just a slab of cheese and call it chake?

and there are no good sauces for it either!!! ranch is out of the question. ketchup is too sweet. mustard is too pungent. a1 sauce tastes like its trying too hard. and horseradish?? it overpowers the steak!! you want to eat steak with horseradish? save the money on the steak and just eat the horseradish out of the jar.

    Trueclear Bomb. I enjoy a good steak but I don’t get people that love it or say its their favorite

    It’s just a slab of meat. I mean yeah we are hardwired to like it mostly but it doesn’t have anything on a dish with multiple ingredients.

    The steak is just considered the main attraction, just like how you call it pasta, although both would be kind of uninteresting and bland without sides, sauce, etc etc

    And bearnaise sauce does go well with it
