true, it’s upsetting. I can’t even act like I don’t follow them. I hate having darker skin sometimes and I wish I had prettier everything, I wish I looked conventionally attractive. It’s not fair
Yeah a beauty standard always necessitates that there’s people it excludes and those get punished for it. And it’s also just bad for everyone, especially women, even if they fit into it, there’s always a pressure to not fall out of it
