The problem is many-to-many communication. I think we need to be more specific in naming it, it’s not social media. The printing press brought us one-to-many communication, and that mutated along into broadcast media, which introduced an early form of our problem, with talk radio. I feel like a lot of what was happening in that scene has the same sort of group thinking and manufactured priorities coming together from being audience and creator.

I feel like there must be some kind of outcome for this where it doesn’t just completely wreck humanity but it feels like it’ll be a bumpy ride. At least you can say you’re living through history.
