I think we are not even in any way shape or form being realistic about how deeply fucked up our modern world is and that the generation raised in this world essentially sometimes inhabits or is more habituated to the online world, this new reality, than to flesh, blood and earth… I am not trying to be a luddite reactionary… but it literally seems that we are witnissing us humans simply detatching and moving ever closer to some technocapitalist singularity… some sort of end of history where everything just merges into this machine of death and self reproduction. I see this as myth. Not as history. It feels like we are building gods or rather corporeal forms for spirits and demons.
I mean yeah that’s capitalism? Like that’s the underlying issue that makes the internet like this. But we live in the pre apocalypse anyway, some sort of large scale collapse or continuous societal degradation are ahead of us
BUT WE NEED TO FIGHT AGAINST IT! WE CANNOT GIVE INTO THIS HORRIBLE FATE. WE NEED TO DESTROY THIS SYSTEM. WE NEED TO BLOW UP THE PIPELINES. WHY NOT SIMPLY KILL OURSELVES NOW INSTEAD OF LIVING THROUGH THE COLLAPS AND SUFFERING HORROS BEYOND OUR COMPREHENSION IN WAR, FAMINE AND WORSE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SPIRITUAL WAR OVER THE SOUL OF HUMANITY. THIS IS GREATER THAN ALL OF US!
In my opinion, the best thing you can do is prepare people for what comes after a collapse. When the world is being rebuilt, it shouldn’t just end up as the same again. I don’t expect any revolutions to happen in the west anytime soon tbh
I sound like a doomsday cult member right… it just doesnt feel like there is a world left to rebuild afterwards… like there will be no collaps… only crisis… until everything merges into the machine… maybe we need different hyperstitions to combat this… need to believe in some great destiny or future ahead of us… idk… I need to chill… omg my brain hurts so much right now… why does everybody always think I am a man! This is all so fucking unreal. I dont even exist across space and time as one thing. Nobody is a person. You will never know how I look… I can be everything online.
