So we have the word “cock”, from a male chicken for a man’s penis. What do we use for a woman’s penis? Oh we just replaced the “c” with a “g”, because it’s girl-cock, get it? No. It’s utterly abhorrent. This word, and it’s every utterance leaves the sensation that it’s wielder dragged it out from the sewers for use in their vocabulary. I can’t fathom any person waking up one day, watching the beauty of our world, the beauty of language and thinking to construct a portmanteau putting a taste as unpleasant in your mouth as this.

Any distinguished transsexual woman who hasn’t gotten SRS should use “hen” to describe their genitalia. It is the natural order of things, one million and one times more clever, one million and two times more elegant, and two million five hundred seventy-eight thousand six hundred and forty-three times more powerful than this “word” which hangs in the back of your throat like an under-cooked chicken gizzard – a cock’s gizzard to be exact.

And that is my proposal: The “hen”.

I hate the word “hen” as much as “gock”, tbh. Both sound sneedy. I often just call it “the thing” or “genitals”.

I think any word for a trans woman’s penis is going to sound sneedy tbh. Not really a fault of the phonetics at that point. I think it’s still much better than gock though. I really hate that word.

Of course I have no social capital so no one’s actually gonna say hen instead of gock lmao. But if you see someone talking about hens, at least you know it’s me! Unless someone else is talking about literal hens.

it could catch on, since it’s self-explanatory and may even re-originate as a counterculture to the word “gock”

hen is a very non-aggressive sounding word. ‘gock’ sounds like it will be forcefully shoved into holes by a sweaty roided gorilla. hen feels as though it would be the subject of advances, like it is lower in the pecking order

It seems like most here hate it and some think it’s even worse so maybe not…

i don’t mind it, but most people here are sex-dysphoric so having any word to remind them of their genitals being dimorphic feels terrible (because hen and gock both acknowledge that it’s not a pussy, while genitals don’t)

the people who will be on your side are probably not planning on getting bottom surgery (like me for example, i’d like a vagina and ovaries and uterus, but the options aren’t available yet for something truly functional so i’m able to cope since i don’t have sex anyways)
