outside of 4tran spaces I never see memes or art of black or brown trans women, I never see dark skinned women posting pics ekther. It’s a bit upsetting bc all the guides and tutorials on how to pass, dress or do makeup is for white people.

tumblr is better for it because theres so much art, and a ton of trans women, but its still not a lot… no matter where people of color are in geeky, lgtbq, hobby, internet spaces, we are almost always the minority and white people are the majority. probably your best bet is to join an obscure sub (i think r/twoc is a thing?) or an obscure discord :T
Pretty much any community not dedicated to a minority will become dominated by the majority. The same is true for majorities within minority communities.
Basically, white people engage with, and get engagement from, white people.
I remember there was this poc tran woman on r/4t4 who went like full hitler because she hated being brown :(

tbf the board is extremely racist, when I used to lurk on there alot it was causing me genuine distress because I started hating my own skin colour and I still kinda do
i haven’t been on the board tbh with u but they make it like a blanket statement. like ALL of us are racist.
from an outsider perspective I don’t blame them at all, sure it’s annoying but when ur not apart of the community all you see is the european beauty standards and the association with 4chan, its not hard to see it that way
Being white all I can say is I think of my own group and not others. If you want stuff for girls like you you’ll need to figure it out and make it to help future girls.
