By ragebait I mean just people posting insta/tiktok chuds, transphobes, negative news, retarded cissoids, hon opticsnukes, chaser dms, brigaders, whatever the fuck. Going back on reddit after having uninstalled it for just a week, there’s just so much of that and i never realized how much it was destroying my mental state every day. It really is mental self harm.
On the other hand people here seem to exclusively blogpost or make silly shitposts, worst thing is dysphoria posting or venting, but I don’t mind it and it doesn’t affect me in nearly the same way. I really really hope tranistan stays this way or at least if people start doing those callout posts, they are self contained somewhere in a special community and easy to filter out.

tbf i feel like 4tran4 was like that back in the early days. i was around when it first came out and it was a lot like how the site is now. 4t4 one day breached containment and hit the mainstream though.

Trvth nvke. Doomscrolling on the sub was addicting and all the negativity only made me worse. It’s like a never ending spiral of getting sad about things and then seeking even sadder things to doom about. This place is so much better it actually feels like a community where we’re not actively trying to destroy each others metal health

i had to leave the sub for a while because it was starting to harm me mentally to see cisgenders say we deserved to get raped, beaten, berated, that we’re all pedophiles and rapists just for existing… it was starting to feel genuinely personal and i couldn’t live like that anymore
