The only reason this has failed so many times is because of ideologically softening and financial capture… you have to try to fight within in capitalism against but have to resist being neutralized and made respectable etc…
I never said you can produce communism that way… of course not… fuck no… but you can make it easier that way for the revolution to succeed is what I’m saying… social democracy can be easier reformed and changed and overthrown than fascism or hypercapitalism…
Yes that’s true historically but I wasn’t advocating for classical social democracy… I was trying to advocate for shifting the playing field in favor of the proletariat before revolution which I don’t think has to be the same as class collaboration… you can start by shifting the playing field in our favor and then try to supress the power of the burgeois little by little and when they try to answer with force, then we answer also with revolutionary force and try to prevent them from gaining ground again by implementing the dictatorship of the proletariat.
And yes historically social democrats are traitors and do act like fascists… that’s why I’m trying to advocate for something more similar to democratic socialist-adjacent measures to gain some ground and support before we can then try to push for more radical changes…
Maybe you’re right but I don’t understand how you plan to even more towards revolution without some changes first that improve the lives of people and show that an alternative way of approaching things is possible…
revolution and proletarian action is spontanious and driven by the contradictions in capitalism heightening, its not “worked towards”
Again thats fucking stupid… yes you have read Marx and I should read Marx too but we both have to agree that you shouldn’t take Marx as dogma and that believing somehow communism will magically manifest when things get bad enough for the working class and we all decide to rally and overthrow capitalism… like this is just wishful thinking… of course we need organizing… if working towards communism doesn’t matter… then let’s again just sit back and wait and do nothing and wait till suddenly we all internationally rise up together, cause this is totally realistic (sarcasm) and magically create a better world by all agreeing to produce stuff according to ability and need…
