as a kid I liked solving math problems and programming is basically that but cooler
That’s interesting. I always really liked math (especially algebra 2/pre calc I was top of my class), but never knew anything about coding. Wanted to be an engineer for a year after high school before I transitioned at which point I gave into the dysphoria and lost all ambition for years.
Exactly the same reason for me as well.
it’s like solving a complicated puzzle + you get the satisfaction of making something + it makes me feel smart even tho im chronically regarded
im just complaining because its really hard and im bad at it
I like feeling smart, also I can make Minecraft mods
Our kids or mortgages or boring shit like that.
