same a few weeks ago i tried to go to a hobby event just to try and make friends, and i walked all the way there but got too anxious and went straight back home
god that happened to me the last 4 times I tried to go to any such events. I was trying really hard recently because I’m in a new city and new country but no matter how often I tired exactly that happened.
