Please no jokes or snarky replies and no bragging about how you don’t have facial hair or were able to get laser. I’m in a very very very dark spot right now and don’t think I could handle it. So anyway, how do I live with this fucking beard that takes less than half a day to return and feel scratchy again? I can’t get laser and can’t afford electrolysis.
How do you not die from the pain? I tried epilating my leg once and had to stop because the pain was so severe that I was close to blacking out
dysphoria was worse, also chronic migraines have probably increased my pain tolerance idk
Better not use an epilator on facial hair. You would risk scabbing and scarring. I have seen one thread on Reddit a long time ago of a girl who shaved with epilator and had strawberry face (with photos) that infected and it took forever to heal it, and then left scars afterwards.
Edit: Some people are lucky to not get adverse effects, but it is better to not risk.
trying it once is very unlikely to cause scarring though so it’s worth a shot

if op’s face bleeds a lot she should definitely stop. i had this weird thing where little bubbles of blood would form from where the hairs were, and pretty quickly get sucked back in? they never ran down my face or anything i guess they had enough tension, super weird tho
