yeah they just have to suffer through other things, like self-inflicted desires, or people-pleasing, or sickness, or lack or perfection, or literally what everyone suffers through. its just that the certain sufferings are unknown or not to the depth that we feel it. lack of suffering in certain departments leads to a lack or detrimental amount of empathy to those who do suffer through those things. i would argue the suffering makes the goal sweeter when you reach it, or you start to realize in your own peace that the goal was not as lofty as you thought through other pieces of fulfillment. sounds reductive, but its literally the way you start to acknowledge things suck ass enough to clear your mind and start the trek. i hope you get what you want.
