I listen to kobary and similar, but also super extreme stuff like Diabarha extratone. Also psytrance, and other electronic genres, breakcore (Lauren Bousfield too), rave type stuff. For pop mainly japanese. Sometimes metal. Also anime ost/openings.

I don’t listen to mainstream music in general, only like niche artists. Honestly this is so malebrained I won’t ever pass socially. Maybe I can aspergercope.

    Yes I have literally the exact same problem. My music taste is very lonely and isolating. I’ve just come to accept that I value the music and my subjective experience listening to it more than conforming to those around me. On the bright side, listening to more underground stuff can allow for higher bonds to the artists. I’m in some discords with like 100 members and you can just directly talk to the artists and the other few people that appreciate them
