My Response: “Yeah, and cripples get good parking spots, but would you think it’s appropriate to tell them how fortunate they are for it?”

Which is a line I think is effective, but probably would have been more effective if I didn’t also then get silent and cry into my salad for the next 5 minutes at the table…

      Thank you friend🫶🏻

I don’t think she was being malicious, just thoroughly fucking clueless…

My brother just said ‘yeah that was Weird, but everybody will get over it’ much more concerned about the social embarrassment part…

Just wanted to tell people who would understand 🩷

“man, it’s gotta be great to not be a real woman huh”

reminder that we’re just meat. you’re a woman in practice, and that’s all that matters. there is no such thing as ‘inherent’ or soul sex.

It did feel like that in some respects they’re saying: “You’re just a man who wants to look like a woman, so why would it upset you to be told you’re lucky that you were born unable to do the thing that biology drives women to do?”

I think NewTie has some art on this that really nails it :

“Would you tell a cis woman they are lucky to be barren? Then why TF do you think it’s okay to do it for me?”
