Which is a line I think is effective, but probably would have been more effective if I didn’t also then get silent and cry into my salad for the next 5 minutes at the table…

      It did feel like that in some respects they’re saying: “You’re just a man who wants to look like a woman, so why would it upset you to be told you’re lucky that you were born unable to do the thing that biology drives women to do?”

      I think NewTie has some art on this that really nails it :

      “Would you tell a cis woman they are lucky to be barren? Then why TF do you think it’s okay to do it for me?”
