I mean, that’s pretty common from what I’ve heard. Pre-pubescent children haven’t really developed sexually dymorphic traits and it’s a lot more acceptable for boys and girls to intermingle until that age, so it makes sense that adolescence is the big turning point for most trans people’s lives.
