I seen discourse that “tranny” is a word only used by trans women and trans men who say it are transmisogynistic. Am i the only one who thanks tranny can be used for both trans men and women?
Like the word is just a slur for being trans. It isn’t a slur tied down to being a trans woman specifically. i never saw it be used soley for trans women and saw trans men be called it too. And it seems weird to me that if a trans guy calls himself a tranny that is bad? Like it is just a descriptor of calling yourself trans.
Like if a trans guy calls a trans woman a tranny that is a diff story, but saying the word itself is transmisogynistic is just silly to me. Imo even calling a trans woman a tranny isn’t misogynistic when the person doing it is trans but also i am self-deprecating and the slur holds no water to me. It’s just slang for being trans for me at this point. So if you called a a non-4tran trans woman tranny then yeah that isn’t a good move as she isn’t accustomed to the slur.

theres a word for ‘transphobia against trans men’ and that word is transphobia lol. half of the other doods that use the term ‘transmisandry’ are the same ones that also insist that theyre super different to cis men because of their innate girlhood afab wombanly femaleness. they all literally willingly misgender themselves constantly in order to act like they have it worse than trans women
they all believe we’re oppressed for being trans AND men when we’re actually just oppressed for being trans. theres a big diff. misandry dont exist so transmisandry cant exist either
