tbh if i were a dood fight club would be my bible probably. its about a guy who :::spoiler (major fight club spoilers but who doesnt know the ending by now) teaches himself how to be a man through a manifestation of his own cartoonishly exaggerated idealized image of masculinity (which he is also totally gay for) because he never had a father figure to do so ::: like come on

what about the scene where tyler durden tells that guy if hes not on the way to becoming a veterinarian in 90 days he’s gonna beat him up. That is one of the best scenes in film history you cant even tell me its bad

Imagine if he did that to a repper if your not on your way to become a women in 90 days im gonna kill you

Somehow haven’t seen any of these but my hot take is probably not liking When Harry Met Sally. Maybe I need to get out more, but I’ve yet to meet someone who agrees.

More recent ones I hate are Weapons, Poor Things, Infinity Pool, Saltburn, and Licorice Pizza.

should be noted Carax, Antonioni, and Bresson have made some of my favorite films ever (Mauvais Sang, Red Desert, and Diary of a Country Priest respectively) but the ones listed here are unbearably awful imo
