Are you fucked if you aren’t like a doctor or a programmer?

think it largely depends where you live, but for the most part i think checking the trans option on online applications isnt the best option. i always just say male and never say anything about being trans.

the only exception was for my current internship which is helping research about trannies so i mentioned it in hopes of getting DEI hired (it worked i think)

im very desensitized to manmoding though, and dont care about misgendering so take what i say with a grain of salt

Yes it’s objectively harder, but some cities are better than others, so the economic importance of locationmaxxing can’t be understated. I don’t feel like doxxing my area, but there’s a city not far from me where I’ve seen and known clockable trannies working all kinds of jobs, even customer-facing service jobs, and the trans community is very big and strong and you can generally avoid drama entirely if you don’t join the regional polycule (yes I’m serious).

When I lived in rural MAGA territory I hardly knew a tranny that wasn’t either living with parents or getting paid to go to school full-time.

I’m going to guess “very fucked”, unless you’re more of a passoid than you realize lol. Like idk unless you’re remote-working in some way I feel like it’s best to urbanize your life. Whatever city in Italy has the most trans-accepting reputation, or largest trans community, is probably your best hope. If you can’t be bothered with moving, then like… compsci it is. I’m sorry

Yeah I can’t move rn cause I’m a broke 18 yo. Can’t really finish college cause I’m getting bullied and come summer it will get worse, I won’t be able to hide my boobs behind hoodies. So like, idk what to do right now lol. Been thinking I could find some shitty temporary job while figuring out the situation.

It’s less than ideal as I’m pretty sure they can negatively effect boob growth, but you might wanna get a binder if you literally can’t hide your boobs. Don’t mention you’re trans or even present GNC in front of employers, consider getting a haircut, etc. Getting a job is a good idea, but guaranteeing employment is easiest when presenting cis. I’ve had rural trans friends go on job searches that’d virtually never end because they were open about it… but then yet again I’m no expert of your local political attitudes… so, y’know, use your better judgment. Manmode should be your friend tho
