There are various small factions in the endocrinologist space. The ones that fucking hate trannies but can’t say it, and the chill ones. There are all kinds of rumors about the more heinous ones, but I remember my professor telling me about a story he had heard about a dinner party, who purposely would put off patients and make bets to see if they’d rope within a certain amount of time. Or just to see how on edge they were without treatment.

Look up some of the training materials and guidelines that they’re supposed to follow, a lot of them read like they were designed without any input from actual trans people and were more aimed at 1) avoiding legal liability and 2) torturing trannies (probably in the hopes that they’ll give up, whether that means detrans or suicide)

To my understanding, a lot of endos don’t really know transition. Hormones do a lot of other stuff they might be more interested in, and people seeking HRT are uncommon. And if they do know something, they’re probably going to follow WPATH guidelines, which are, as far as I’m aware, pretty hondosey
I hear a problem is that a lot of WPATH and doctor guidelines are to get you to adult woman e + t levels, not necessarily pubescent levels
