I swear it does not only kill your emotions, but they fry your brain. I am literally dissociationmaxxing I can’t think I can’t do anything I had trouble writing this, I take lot of caffeine to try to function but my brain can’t think, I’m sluggish af. I’m still depressed btw

Damn. All my SSRI did was get rid of my OCD (and, weirdly, most of my hunger cues)

That’s wild. Mine got my OCD away, but I got back my ability to feel hungry after years of not feeling so.

I still wonder why SSRIs are so different from person to person.

I can still feel hungry, but only when I’m absolutely starving. (e.g. it’s 3pm and I haven’t eaten all day)

I think it’s just that brains are so unbelievably complex.

At least you don’t have cognitive impairments, that’s a huge deal bc I can’t function at all even with caffeine

Problem is all SSRIs give me sides, only few that hasn’t give me side effects is trazadone but it does not work on my depression and bupropion which I’m only one week on it.

I’m taking mirtazapine for like 2 months and added bupropion like a week ago.

I’m taking 15 mg. I feel that it’s only helping with sleeping cause I haven’t seen improvements in depression (I was on the ER 4 days ago bc of a suicide attempt)

I wish they worked… I hope bupropion helps since it works with dopamine and maybe just maybe it can work better than SSRIs

It rly is, but I can’t take SSRIs, cause they give me side effects no matter how long I use them. Mirtazapine, Trazadone and Bupropion are the only ones that does not cause sides but Mirta and trazadone at the dosages I’ve tried does not improve depression. I’m yet to see how effective burpropion is bc I’m only one week on it
