My mother did the same when I started taking Finasteride because I had recently told her I wanna troon. So her worry materialized in the form of “hormonal medicine is serious, you should only use them with docter oversight!!!” I did do stuff that would satiate her, like going to doctors and talking with them, telling I’ve started fin and would they monitor me etc etc. her worry lessened with this and also as time passed.
