Also I hate how “social construct” is thrown around, like “gender does not equal sex, and is a social construct which means it’s fake and meaningless 😁.” Money is social construct, race is a social construct, Nationality, laws, hell even adulthood are all social constructs. Some social constructs like adulthood and laws I think we should keep, but where’s the energy that gender is fake has for money, race, and nationality.

I feel like the trans movement has been co-opted by gender abolitionist, largely cis “allies,” that only support Transexuals insofar as they can use them to support their own goals. I’ve seen people literally say that trans people wouldn’t exist if we abolished gender, and they mean that in a supportive way.
