    I was using an androgynous form of a name since I was able to talk and I still use it as is, but it’s also not what my first name was at the start, so I like to think of it as me picking out my new name and then taking forever to do anything else for changing myself. So I think it’s cool to do, but I can see a lot of good reasons to make a distinct change

    when i was a troon i did that and ended up regretting it, but its probably just a personal preference thing

    imo i wouldnt do it b/c cissoids could more easily figure out ur deadname

      Mine is more ‘‘ethnic’’ really and I live in a white country so much less chance but yeah u make a good point, maybe i should have more names
