You seriously can’t fucking talk about anything with these people.

“I would like to pass as a woman” response: “Not everyone is a supermodel honny!” “I get misgendered 100% of the time” response: “So does literally every cis woman!” “I’m not feminine in any way whatsoever” response: “Excuse me? Do you think women need to be feminine? That’s problematic honny…” “I feel like my transition has failed” response: “That’s problematic honny” “I’ve been on HRT for 1 year and I still don’t pass…” response: “Just wait another year honny” “I’ve been on HRT for 2 years and I still don’t pass…” response: “Just wait another year honny” “I’ve been on HRT for 3 years and I still don’t pass…” response: “Just wait another year honny” (you get the point) “HRT has done next to nothing for me” response: "HRT isn’t supposed to do anything! all the changes lie in wigs and makeup!

The FtM community is similar. So hostile when you say you want to be a regular man and not a super special femboi.

It must be that this is their cope for not passing themselves. It’s so infuriating when they have to push it on other people though.

I think this is sadly very true and in the worst kind of scenarios it’s almost like those conservative cissoid conversion freaks that try to convince you that you are not trans ans can just be a “feminine man” and that tell you that being trans somehow enables gender essentialsm while simultaneously thinking that they are liberating or abolishing gender.

It’s the same how liberals are against leftists for being too extreme while not recognizing that they are supporting fascists with their “anti-extremism”.

In the best kind of scenario, those people (who are also trans) saying those hugboxy things mean it and are sincere and essentially are just trying to say “Take your pills, Alice” without needing to directly acknowledge the pain and suffering and their own privilege and without needing to say the quiet part which is that maybe it’s better to keep going anyway.

It’s an attempt to be supportive while ignoring why some might need that support to beginn with and without acknowledging how they maybe are also benefiting from the system that makes the other suffer and makes themselves flourish in contrast.

If you’re a pre-HRT trans woman lost in dooming and misery, it’s better to have a tucute push you towards doing HRT than not you not transitioning at all.

4tran is just more blunt and direct and honest about it and also understand that transition kinda comes first and all the softy feelings self-acceptance later.
