I have other reasons to dislike my name besides it being strongly masculine. Now I’m pretty sure repping isn’t viable and I just will need to troon eventually, but even when I thought I could rep forever I thought about changing my name to a gender neutral name that also didnt have the negative associations of my birth name. Is this cringe? Does it make me look like a weird theymab?
Maybe… im not sure… but I went by diane for years before transitioning… I went by diane when I was still repressing… I told people I was named Diane in honour of Princess Diana… and people just were like oh okay…
