like, idk how it is on app, but on the web version of here you can click your profile and there should be a drop down to see all the media youve uploaded. including duplicate pictures that might have been used more than once.
just deleting a post/comment, or editing it to take the photo out doesnt actually delete it. you have to go to that media tab on your profile and individually delete every picture.
It stores everything you ever uploaded, it seems. There were a few picrels for posts I never submitted.
