I’ve been working with this endo for years and he sucks but I need to keep him happy while I wait for some surgery. For all this time, he’s had my blood tests set to male ranges, so that any remotely significant amount of estrogen means the test gets labeled “Abnormal”. I figured it’d be easy to get changed, but I keep running into delays. I’ve even been calling them up with my sweetest voice “I would like you all to stop treating me like I’m a man please” and the receptionist gets all sad sounding but nothing happens. I’m probably going to accomplish nothing except get them to stop thinking I’m well behaved, and they won’t think I’m allowed to be Abnormal anymore
It’s all a game. Let them think what they want, say why they want, and generally be the chuds they are. Results are the only things that matter in this situation. Stick it out until the surgery you need… then you can forget all about it…
Yeahhh I should just play the game, the whole thing has really been getting to me lately though. I am really looking forward to the day when I never have to speak to him again and can go fully off the grid with the care
