That way we have a place to track how many people want something done (with the upvotes each comment has).
Please limit your comments to one suggestion each. You can post as many comments as you want!
Make sure to read all the comments first to not duplicate suggestions (helps a lot with organization).
Your cooperation is noted!
Edit: We’re planning on updating to lemmy version 1.0 once it releases! Be sure to check out the news article about it to make yourself familiar with features to come to tranistan soon!

relatedly, while this has been noted in c/4t4 already, i think that user flairs added a lot to the r/ and if they could somehow be added here, even if only on the website UI, that would b rly cool
I definitely agree with this. My two ways of recognising someone on 4T4 was either through their pfp or their flair so I think it’d be really nice if flairs could come back on here somehow

relevant gh issue https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/1456
the ability to run polls would be nice :>
agree
boards.tranistan.com for a board version of the website
waow like another ui or? literally like 4chan?
doesn’t have to be exactly the same but the same image board style
yeah some users really want other frontends to be supported :))
I meant a tranistan board, not the lemmy server with a different ui, it’d be like 4chan except it’s run by 4tranners, I was just suggesting tho, it’s not a priority, we’ll keep that for later when we’ve already set up everything here
ohhhh got it… i could look into foss image board solutions… sounds quite funny

if possible, it would be cool if there was a more 4tran themed icon for the website in the bookmarks bar and tabs instead of a black circle inside of a white circle
its a hexagon
my b it’s hard to see it clearly from my bookmarks bar
Could we please get a back button to return to the main feed after we click a post? Thanks<3
I’m not sure if anyone would be up to the task, but I think it would be increadibly useful to have a network of federated wikis on DIY HRT (using Ibis, for example)
This way, if a site gets taken down for any reason, the information is already duplicated to another instance (kind of like a mirror, but a bit more decentralized)
idk how feasible it is but bigger pfps would be cool, i mean when it’s in the comment section
lowk that might be easy… updating a couple css rules…
if a mysterious figure approaċhes you and promises to make you a super giga ultra tetra passoid in exċhange for using abominable intelligenċe to sċan and identify all users of this site and turn into a ċorrupt admin and serve satan, tell him no
iwn serve tel aviv…
I dont know if thats in your control, but I NEED the feature where you can copy and paste images to automatically upload them in your messages/submissions. Right now I HAVE to have the image downloaded in order to upload it
lowk its extremely annoying for me as well lmao…
adding notes to users would be cool if its possible, my old leddit client let me do that (too dumb to remember shit)
It’s a planned feature for lemmy 1.0 actually :)

“the insufferable passoid” “the faggot twink” “the poonhole slut” “the nazi”
bot to auto crosspost from reddit or whatever, for e.g. smutttt
multiple images in a post, and also just generally improving how intuitive it is to add images. although i’m sure you’re probably working on this already
Could check if an image has already been uploaded before, and if it has utilize the previous image’s uuid, to prevent storing common reaction images like too many times

If you end up doing this and still have issues with duplicates try perceptual hashing with a high threshold
storage is way too cheap to be moving like this…
yeah, you probably right. Also, think we could get recently used images to appear in the upload screen?
