Some like kittens, some like teen cats, but I think there’s beauty in grooming and feeding an older cat, one who has given up, to finally realize that all the fights she’s had, and all the time she’s held her ground, wasn’t for nothing.
That even if the moment that she finally experience love, was but a fleeting one. To have her eye light up and realize that, although the love they would hold is short lived, that it is something she ultimately deserves. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
