Kills me because that’s when I came out too, and my counselor even wanted to put me on HRT, and my parents wouldn’t have cared at all, but A. I threw away the opportunity because I was a dumb kid and B. I was already so destroyed from the puberty I hit at 9 that I already looked like a grown man p much. Like transitioning when I actually did at 19, I looked just as male at 14, just way better hairline, which estrogen fixed either way.

I suppose I am also a bit bias towards luckshittery > being super youngshit bc my cousin is a genuine youngshit (hrt not a full year into her puberty) and she’s in her mid 20s now and she still doesn’t pass and lives in misery.

Its all so unfair, it really is.

wow your cousin got super unlucky. I do agree luck is always the most important factor, and it sounds like she did everything right and had supportive parents and still got screwed.

I remember my parents being like “well you’re already done with puberty anyways” when I was trying to get blockers/hormones at 16 and that really hurt. it was mostly true but I still had some masculinization that could have stopped with better T suppression
