wow your cousin got super unlucky. I do agree luck is always the most important factor, and it sounds like she did everything right and had supportive parents and still got screwed.

I remember my parents being like “well you’re already done with puberty anyways” when I was trying to get blockers/hormones at 16 and that really hurt. it was mostly true but I still had some masculinization that could have stopped with better T suppression
