I can’t afford it but I think my mom said she would cover it if I did.

I wouldn’t say it did most of the work, that was me. but it really helps to have a space to vent out and talk about your issues; if nothing else it makes me bottle it up less and bother my friends with it less

if you can afford it, it’s worth it

My therapist is a really lovely fella. Hurried with diagnosis and everything to get me HRT and orchiectomy ASAP. He helps me to organise myself so I actually get shit done instead of dooming aimlessly. Despite telling me I have some BDD he thinks I’m not delusional in wanting FFS and tells me I should get it ASAP. He’s too hugboxxy for my taste, but I truly trust him to want the best for me.

It depends i had one therapist that made me go from so autistic i couldn’t function normally to some people not being able to tell i am autistic, tho that took like 7 years or so

I also had two that did less than nothing for my mental state, they were nice but that’s it

When I was severely depressed, it benefited me slightly. Although my therapist would they/them me, it was nice to have a space where you were fee free to discuss your troubles at hand. It really all depends what you want to gain from each session.
